How I live.

I am engulfed with the idea of being myself… it’s entrancing. The idea of doing and saying everything that makes myself up into me… what a fantastic way to live.
I am saddened, however, because I feel only a select group of people really accept who they are. It's disheartening to realize that loud opinions hinder a person from being who they really are.
Well, screw that. I mean really. Screw. That.
When it comes to your own life, your own happiness, why should anyone else decide it? Why should anyone else limit you? If you like leather spandex pants, pink high top sneakers, and neon eyeliner, wear them. If you like to listen to Kelly Clarkson, dance to Stevie Wonder, and meditate to “Comfortably Numb”, sing it, dance it, do it.
If you like boys, like girls, like both, love them like you have never loved anyone before. If you hear someone judge you, smile and continue doing what makes YOU happy. You are the person who needs to matter most in your life. No opinion, judgement, or snide remark should ever come before yourself and your own happiness.
If you can love who you are, really love who you are, show yourself the way you come, and surround yourself with people who love you exactly as you are, you will find happiness. Life is nothing more than clay in your hands. You make it what you want it to be… you are in charge of how life ends up for yourself. You decide, ultimately, if you end up happy.
I’m sick of all the hateful words people come up with to hinder another individual’s happiness.   Who are you? What does it matter to you if the girl in your english class wears leather spandex pants and neon eyeliner? I am sick of everyone living for someone else, for the majorities view on how a person should live. There isn’t a guide book for how to live. Yeah, there are rules, morals, religions, and social “norms”… but none of those things truly dictate what a person does in their life. What a person wears, to what music a person sings, dances, or listens to, who someone falls in love with— nothing should ever dictate any of that, nothing but that individual and their own, unique version of happiness. Wear what you like. Listen to what you like. Read what you like. Sing what you like. Love who you like. Live how you like.
Don’t listen to anyone’s negativity. Smile and love your life because it’s a good one.
